A durable interior pool surface made of small aggregate pebbles set in cement, prized for its longevity and natural look over plain plaster.
Pebble finish is an upgrade on standard plaster: small, often polished, natural pebbles are blended into the cement mix and exposed at the surface, creating a textured, mottled look and a noticeably harder, longer-lasting surface, often 15 to 20+ years versus plaster's shorter lifespan. It costs more upfront than plaster but generally resists staining and etching better and rarely needs the touch-up work plaster does. Like plaster, it's still a cement-based surface, so keeping water balance in a healthy range still matters for how long it lasts.
